Book Week takes flight

We have harnessed the Book Week theme to create a space where our students can escape to and celebrate our love of books and reading.  Thank you to Tammy for your amazing artistic touch and to Jan Marie for helping get everything up and on display – our library is truly captivating. Happy Book Week everyone!

Breakfast Book Club in the tune of Matilda!

It might have been the coldest spell in Adelaide’s history for over a century, but it was warm in the library with our book lovers this morning.  We had our best turn out yet to once again share a delicious feast and our LOVE of Roald Dahl’s classic Matilda.

Our next Book Club will be held on the last day of term – Friday 7th July @ 7.45am in the library.  Our readers have been asked to choose their FAVOURITE BOOK EVER to share and to design something to convince us why their book is the best.  For our younger members Simone recommended any of the Tinkler’s Three series by MC Badger if they don’t have a favourite of their own.

It’s not too late to join if you’re interested -simply comment on the blog, email Simone or pop into the library.

Have a fabulous weekend,

Simone
